Sorting Results

The Sort pull-down menu can be used to sort your results by author, journal, article title, or publication date.

To sort citations:

• Step 1: Select a sort type from the Sort pull-down menu.

Notice that:

• Author, Journal and Title sort alphabetically from A to Z. The secondary sort is Publication Date.
  
  
• Publication date sorts by the latest publication dates first. The secondary sort is Journal title.
  
  
• You can sort directly from the results screen or collect selected citations on the clipboard and sort the items there.
