Send to Printer

Select Printer from the Send to menu to display your retrieval in a printer-friendly format.

To print multiple citations in Citation format using Send to Printer:

• Step 1: Place checkmarks against the citations to be printed. Use the Display pull-down menu to select the Citation format.
  
  
• Step 2: Select Printer from the Send to menu.
  
  
• Step 3: Click the Print this page button in the new window to send the page to your printer. Follow the instructions on your computer's Print window to send the print job, if necessary.
  
  
• Step 4: Click Close this window to return to your results.

Notes: Your browser must be set to allow pop-ups from ncbi.nlm.nih.gov for the Print window to open.

Alternatively, display citations as plain text by selecting Text from the Send to menu, and use the print function of your Web browser.

To print citations from multiple searches, save the citations in PubMed’s Clipboard, then use Send to Printer from the Clipboard.
