Registration

To use My NCBI you need to register and sign in when you want to use My NCBI features. Let's walk through registering. If you have registered, jump ahead and learn about saving searches.

Demonstration
Click the steps to run the demonstration.

• Step 1: Click on Register. Fill in the requested information.
  
  
• Step 2: Click the Register button. You are now registered for My NCBI. Notice the My NCBI banner in the top right hand corner welcoming you.

Note: Your User Name, Password, and security word are case-sensitive. Make sure you choose a User Name and Password that are easy to remember -- record your user name/password as well as the answer to the security question so you can refer to it in the future. NLM is unable to recover accounts for users who have forgotten this information.
