User Preferences

To change certain user preferences, click on User Preferences from the My NCBI sidebar. [Show Me]

You may:

  • Change the display format for the Links menu on your search results screen.
     
  • Save an e-mail address for Send to E-mail as well as automatic e-mail updates from My NCBI.

  • Change the display format of single citations.

  • Choose to highlight PubMed search words in your retrieval when you are signed into My NCBI.
    [Show Me]

Note: Highlighted terms will include your search terms as well as terms that have been added by PubMed to enhance your search. PubMed will also highlight words or phrases retrieved by a truncated term. Highlighting will also appear in any field, not just fields included in your search. Use the Details tab to see how a search has been translated.
