Registration and Signing In

To use My NCBI you need to register and sign in.

Demonstration
Click the steps to run the demonstration.

To Register:

• Step 1: Click on Register. Create a username (3 or more characters) and a password (6 or more characters).
  
• Step 2: If using your own computer, select Keep me signed in or Remember my username. This will keep these settings indefinitely available from your computer.
• Step 3: Answer one of the security questions, type in the five characters shown in the image, and provide an e-mail address, if desired. This email address will be used for both automatic e-mail updates of Saved Searches and the Send to E-mail feature in PubMed.
  
• Step 4: Click the Register button. You are now registered for My NCBI. Notice the My NCBI banner in the top right hand corner welcoming you.

Note: Your User Name, Password, and security word are case-sensitive.

In future sessions, click on Sign In to access your My NCBI account and activate your My NCBI settings. [Show Me]
