Clinical Queries (continued)

Demonstration
Click the Steps to run the demonstration.

Let’s use the Search by Clinical Study Category filter. We’ll begin using the default category filter of “therapy” and the default scope filter of “narrow, specific search “:

  • Step 1: Type in the subject search term(s), food AND eczema, and click Go. Notice the number of items of the search results.

Now let’s change the scope filter to “broad, sensitive search” which will yield higher retrieval than our first search.

  • Step 1: Check "broad, sensitive search" as the scope filter.
  • Step 2: Type in the subject search term(s), food AND eczema, and click Go. Notice the higher number of items in the search results.
