The National Library of Medicine (NLM) provides access to population information via several resources. Population information includes worldwide coverage of population, family planning, and related health issues, including family planning technology and programs, fertility, and population law and policy. The Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs (JHU/CCP) Population Information Program (PIP) also provides access to population information via their POPLINE® database.
POPLINE records through 2000 will be available from NLM free on the Web. Monographic records are already available in LocatorPlus. NLM also will add prospective journal articles and monographic records in areas of family planning, contraception, fertility and population issues.
