Notes About this Online Exhibition
This is an on-line version of an exhibition of satirical art related to the practice of modern medicine, which was displayed in the main lobby of the National Library of Medicine from 1 April through 31 May, 1994. The images displayed to the on-line user may not accurately reflect the colors and subtle detail of the original works, due to the limited resolution of the devices on which the images are displayed, as well as inherent differences between video monitors.
The website was redesigned and the images were rescanned wherever possible in spring 2009.
