Oral and videotaped interviews with former and current medical staff, nurses, administrators, trustees, donors, members of support organizations and long-term employees.
Approximately 50 interviews. New interviews are conducted periodically.
Highlights of the collection include interviews with Eleanor Garen, R.N., a survivor of the Santo Tomas internment camp in the Philippines during WWII; noted hospital physicians and faculty at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine; nurse alumnae; enlisted personnel of Base and General Hospital #12 (World War I and II); former administrators and current staff.
