There are several websites using the UMLS at present.

Medical World Search (not currently available) enables a user to use any of the hierarchies represented within the Metathesaurus as method of semantic query expansion.

The Cliniweb project at Oregon serves as a reference source on many important websites for clinical medicine, organized using the Metathesaurus.
