Partly in response to some stimulation by Alan Goldberg and some encouragement by Nelson Garnett, the National Library of Medicine has undertaken a project to improve our ability to support users who wish to retrieve information about alternatives and laboratory animal use. This is certainly appropriate for Policy 12 as well as other potential uses.
