Transcript: Healing Totem stops at Little Big Horn

Emerson Gorman
To have respect for the people, our ancestors that went before us, we’re going to make an offering with that tobacco, so we’ll be able to travel safe. Sometimes, you know, these spirits when they come around these areas, you know, a sacred place like this, sometimes they follow you wherever you go. They might come in your dream, so if you make an offering like this, that way they stay here. They protect you in a good way as you travel, so that’s what we’re going to do, you know, with this tobacco.
Brent Merrill
Almost anytime you come to a place like this, you know, you just – I don’t know how other people do it, but I just feel the weight, you know, it’s just – there’s just places where there’s spirits. This is one of them.
