NLM Announces Refreshed Version of Specialized Information Services (SIS) Web Site
The National Library of Medicine (NLM), the world's largest medical library and a component of the National Institutes of Health, announces that the Web site of its Specialized Information Services (SIS) Division has been refreshed. The new version of the site (www.sis.nlm.nih.gov) streamlines the information content and makes SIS resources easier to access. The new home page links to NLM online resources and programs in toxicology, environmental health, chemistry, HIV/AIDS, disaster information management, and outreach to specific populations. In addition, the home page now includes a "Search Our Resources" feature that searches all SIS Web pages simultaneously. To search SIS databases on toxicology, hazardous chemicals, environmental health, and toxic releases, click on the Environmental Health & Toxicology (http://www.sis.nlm.nih.gov/enviro.html) or TOXNET (http://toxnet.nlm.nih.gov/) links on the home page.
