 2005 MLA Meeting Reminder and NLM Invitation
 
 

drop cap letter for t he Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association (MLA) will be held May 14-19, 2005 in San Antonio, TX. Attendees are invited to visit the NLM exhibit booth (May 15-17) to meet NLM staff and see NLM's Web products. The NLM Theater at the booth will feature demonstrations and tutorials on a wide variety of topics. Please see the NLM Theater schedule.

Please join the Friends of the National Library of Medicine (FNLM) for a private, after-hours tour of the Alamo, followed by a festive Niosaita dinner of traditional San Antonio cuisine in Alamo Hall. Meet fellow NLM supporters and staff and hear the latest news concerning NLM, while getting a special look at the "Shrine of Texas Liberty." Come also to hear the talented Monica Martinez, recently crowned "Best Mariachi Vocalist in the US," perform during dinner. The Alamo is just one-and-a-half blocks from the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter and Riverwalk; a map with detailed directions will be available at the MLA Registration Center. Please arrive promptly at 7:00 pm.
