Updated SNOMED CT to ICD-10 Cross Map Available

The February 2013 version of the SNOMED CT to ICD-10 Cross Maps is available for download. The content maps the July 2012 SNOMED CT International Release to ICD-10, fourth edition (2010). The download contains files in Release Format 2 (RF2).
SNOMED CT: US Edition, March 2013

NLM announces the release of the US Edition of SNOMED CT. The US Edition combines the International Release of SNOMED CT and US-specific content previously found in the US Extension to SNOMED CT. It eliminates the need for users to combine the two products. The US Edition is the official source of SNOMED CT for use in US healthcare systems.
The download contains files in both Release Format 1 (RF1) and Release Format 2 (RF2) versions. NLM will provide an updated US Edition approximately one month after each International Release update.
SNOMED CT: US Extension, March 2013

As of March 2013, NLM will no longer provide a separate US Extension to SNOMED CT file. The final release of the US Extension is available for download from the same page as the newly released US Edition.

The IHTSDO invites SNOMED CT implementers to submit proposals for presentations, posters, or tutorials for the upcoming Showcase on October 10-11, 2013, in Washington DC. The deadline for proposal submission is May 1, 2013.

SNOMED CT: International Medical Devices, January 2013

The January 2013 SNOMED CT International Medical Devices technology preview is available for download in Release Format 2 (RF2) only. These files are for evaluation purposes only. They are not part of the January 2013 International Release and are not recommended for use in clinical systems. To provide feedback on the medical devices terminology, send comments to NLM Customer Service with the subject "SNOMED CT International Medical Devices" by February 28, 2013.

The January 2013 International Release of SNOMED CT is available for download. The download contains SNOMED CT files in both Release Format 1 (RF1) and Release Format 2 (RF2) versions. Additionally updated RF2 to RF1 compatibility tools and the Member Resources file are available for download from the same Web page.
