MLHFQ (Minnesota Living With Heart Failure Questionnaire) is developed and maintained by the University of Minnesota, Office for Technology Commercialization
The MLHFQ is designed to measure the effects of heart failure and its treatments on an individuals quality of life.
MLHFQ measures the effects of symptoms, functional limitations, and psychological distress on an individuals quality of life. It consists of questions that assess the impact of frequent physical symptoms, the effects of heart failure on physical/social functions, and side effects of treatments, hospital stays, and costs of care.
The Metathesaurus representation of MLHFQ is extracted from the LOINC release files.
MLHFQ is used in clinical care, clinical research, and education.
Metathesaurus Update Frequency
MLHFQ is a new source in the 2012AB Metathesaurus release. MLHFQ will be updated in each Metathesaurus release as part of LOINC.
