The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke sponsored the Quality of Life Outcomes in Neurological Disorders (Neuro-QOL) multi-site project.
The goal of the Neuro-QOL project is to develop a health-related quality of life assessment tool for adults and children with neurological disorders. It aids the needs of researchers of neurological disorders and facilitates data comparisons across clinical trials in different diseases.
The Neuro-QOL project is a patient reported outcomes tool for people with neurological disorders and incorporates patient reported outcomes for social, psychological and mental well-being.
The Metathesaurus representation of Neuro-QOL is extracted from the LOINC release files.
Neuro-QOL is used in neurology clinical trials and clinical research.
