Institute for Safe Medication Practices is a non-profit organization that works closely with healthcare practitioners and institutions, regulatory agencies, professional organizations, and the pharmaceutical industry to provide education about adverse drug events and their prevention.

MedWatch, a component of the United States Food and Drug Administration, is the program for reporting serious reactions and problems with medical products such as drugs and medical devices.
