Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). Part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Conducts research and disseminates reports in support of its mission to improve health care quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of healthcare for all Americans.
Armed Forces Health Surveillance Center (U.S. Department of Defense). DOD organization that provides health surveillance information for the U.S. Armed Forces.
Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The primary Federal agency for improving access to health care services for people who are uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable. Provides data on health professionals, rural health and medical underserved and shortage areas.
National Center for Health Statistics. This Division of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is the principal health statistics agency of the United States.
