CDC FASTATS (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). This CDC site provides quick access to statistics on topics of public health importance.

County Health Rankings and Roadmaps (University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute). This online tool is a collaboration of the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Display health measures for a specific U.S. county; compare data with other counties in the same state or similar counties in other states.

Health Data Tools and Statistics (Public Health Partners). This portal to many sources of health data is a collaboration of U.S. government agencies, public health organizations, and health science libraries.

Health Indicator Sortable Stats (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). This site provides access to interactive state level data set of behavioral risk factors and health indicators.

Health Indicators Warehouse (National Center for Health Statistics). A user-friendly web-accessible database of pre-tabulated national, state, and local health indicators. Data can be displayed or downloaded into a spreadsheet.

Health Statistics (National Library of Medicine). This MedlinePlus Health Topic provides links to news, Web pages from authoritative health organizations, organizations, and pre-formulated MEDLINE/PubMed searches on statistics. MedlinePlus also includes statistics as a category under many specific topics. (Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation). This project allows you to compare state health data with data for the U.S. as a whole or with another state. Includes state Medicaid Fact Sheets.
