Organizations

comScore. A global Internet technology company that produces business analytics for its customers. Press releases, presentations, and white papers are among its free online offerings. Includes healthcare and pharmaceutical industries are among the industries covered.

Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). A partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). Receives complaints about cyber crime such as online fraud, hacking, identity theft, and intellectual property rights. Produces an annual report that includes statistics on number of complaints by state, dollar loss, and type of crime.

Internet Society. A global organization concerned with Internet policies, education, technology standards and future development. Conducts a Global Internet Survey and produces a report on the findings.

Manhattan Research. A pharmaceutical and healthcare market research firm that studies trends in digital technology and the healthcare industry. Research studies available for purchase. Complimentary eNewsletter and infographics available to those who register.

Pew Internet & American Life Project. A Pew Research Center project that issues reports concerning the impact of the Internet beginning in 2000.

Primary Research Group (PRG). This company conducts research studies and publishes reports for businesses and institutions, including hospitals and libraries.
