DOCLINE -- Downloading DOCLINE Reports to Excel


Question: How can I download my DOCLINE Reports to Excel?


Answer:

Using Internet Explorer 7.x or 8.x:

  1. From the DOCLINE menu, select Requests then Reports.
  2. Select the report to download.
  3. While viewing the report, from the IE menu select Edit, then Select All.
  4. From the IE menu select Edit, then Copy.
    (Note: In IE, if the menu bar is not displayed by default, right click in the report on the browser screen and highlight Select All. Next, right click on the report and select Copy.)
  5. In Excel, open a new workbook.
  6. Click in cell A1.
  7. From the Excel main menu, select Edit, then Paste.
  8. Select "Match Destination Formatting" from the "Excel Paste Options" menu (if Paste Options menu is displayed after paste).
  9. Add or modify formatting as desired for local needs.

Using Firefox 3.x:

  1. From the DOCLINE menu, select Requests then Reports.
  2. Select the report to download.
  3. While viewing the report, from the Firefox menu select Edit, then Select All.
  4. From the Firefox menu select Edit, then Copy.
  5. In Excel, open a new workbook.
  6. Click in cell A1.
  7. From the Excel main menu, select Edit, then Paste.
  8. Select "Match Destination Formatting" from the "Excel Paste Options" menu (if Paste Options menu is displayed after paste).
  9. Add or modify formatting as desired for local needs.
