Question: When should I use the LIC code to reject requests?
Answer:
Lenders should use the LIC rejection code when the library's journal subscription prohibits Interlibrary loan (ILL) under the conditions specific to this request. For example, subscription prohibits ILL from the online journal outside the lender's country and the borrowing library is outside the lender's country. Journals with subscription license agreements that entirely prohibit ILL should not be listed in DOCLINE's serial holdings.
