IndexCat -- Language Search
Question: Can I do searches for languages?
Answer:
Searches for languages are possible only in the eVK2 collection. Choose ‘Language Search (eVK2 only)' in the dropdown list within Quick Search or Advanced Search. There are two language values that are used in the eVK2 records - Middle English or Old English. The eTK collection has no language values.
For the Index-Catalogue collection it is not possible to search for languages at this time. The digitization process assigned a language indicator. The assignment did not meet the quality standards set by the Quality Assurance Committee (see - About IndexCat Project). The Committee recommended suppression of this feature until languages codes are reviewed and edited.
