- The Library operates a version 3 compliant Z39.50 server. Some important notes about NLM's Voyager database access via Z39.50:
- - Voyager systems do currently support Boolean AND/OR/NOT searching on search types with a POSITION attribute of 3
- - Initialization, Present and Scan Protocol options are supported within the Z39.50 standard
- - Setting up access assumes a general familiarity with Z39.50

- To connect to LocatorPlus using z39.50 you will have to configure your client with the following parameters:
- - IP Address: tegument.nlm.nih.gov or 130.14.73.14
- - Port:
- 7090 (MARC-8 Character Set Encoding)
- 7091 (UTF-8 Character Set Encoding)
- - Database: VOYAGER
