Conference Names
- For personally authored or edited works about a conference, not authorized by the conference committee, assign the heading for the conference name using the MARC 610 or 611 tag as appropriate according to the NAF
- Also assign the MeSH heading Congresses as Topic
- Do not also assign the publication type Congresses
- Proceedings of a conference are not assigned a subject heading for the name of the conference. Record the name in a 1XX or 7XX field as appropriate
