IT Specialist (APPSW)

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) is one of 27 Institutes and Centers at the National Institutes of Health. NLM is a global leader in biomedical informatics and computational health data science and the world’s largest biomedical library. NLM’s legislative mandate is to support the essential work of acquiring, organizing, preserving, and disseminating biomedical information. NLM provides public access to this information 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Overview:

This position is in the Office of Computer and Communications Systems (OCCS), Applications Branch, E-Health Information Support Section (EHIS). The office is looking for an outstanding candidate with extensive experience in software development, testing and systems design, with leadership skills and the ability to manage client expectations. It involves both technical skills and the capability to oversee complex projects from start to finish.
