Setting your library "Out of Office"

When there is no staff available to fill Lend requests, due to vacations or similar outages, set your DOCLINE status to “Temporarily Inactive”,  so that requests will not route to your library:

Select Institutions from the DOCLINE main menu.

Select Update <LIBID> where <LIBID> is your institution's LIBID

 

Your library's institution record is displayed.

Click Schedule on the institution navigation bar.

Under “Enter date range(s) when library will be closed” type or use the calendar to input the date when requests should stop routing to your library (MM-DD-YYYY format).

Enter the date when requests should resume routing to your library.

 

Libraries may enter multiple out of office date ranges.  

‘Closed’ dates (up to a year in the future) display in the calendar.

Click SAVE.
