Guide to Oral Histories in Medicine and the Health Sciences
The Guide to Oral Histories in Medicine and the Health Sciences was originally compiled, edited and designed by Lisa Massengale for a 2006 Associate Fellowship project. The National Library of Medicine Associate Fellowship Program is a one-year postgraduate training fellowship at the NLM in Bethesda, designed to prepare librarians for future leadership roles in health sciences libraries and in health services research.
This Web guide would not be possible without the encouragement and support of Paul Theerman and Susan Speaker of the National Library of Medicine, who served as Project Leaders. Acknowledgement is also due to many individuals for their assistance and cooperation:
Website Design and Development: Young Rhee and John Rees
Research Assistance: Crystal Smith
Special thanks: Jan Lazarus, Christie Moffatt, David Gillikin and Barbara Rapp for support and advice.
Subsequent editions will be compiled and edited by Susan Speaker.
