NLM Announces Refreshed Version of Specialized Information Services (SIS) Web Site

The National Library of Medicine (NLM), the world's largest medical library and a component of the National Institutes of Health, announces that the Web site of its Specialized Information Services (SIS) Division has been refreshed. The new version of the site ( streamlines the information content and makes SIS resources easier to access. The new home page links to NLM online resources and programs in toxicology, environmental health, chemistry, HIV/AIDS, disaster information management, and outreach to specific populations. In addition, the home page now includes a "Search Our Resources" feature that searches all SIS Web pages simultaneously. To search SIS databases on toxicology, hazardous chemicals, environmental health, and toxic releases, click on the Environmental Health & Toxicology ( or TOXNET ( links on the home page.
