The Continuing Saga

The American health care system is constantly changing.

Researchers and librarians must keep track of changes in the health care system so that they are ready for opportunities to work on interesting research projects and to stay on top of the information that comes from states and the federal government, and from the organizations that have a vested interest in these changes.

In this module you gained a sense of how the field of health services research evolved and how that evolution affected how health services research was done. You also learned who some of the giants in the field are.
