Currently the HSRR database contains descriptions of about 600 research datasets, 140 instruments/indices, and more than 25 software applications that are frequently used in health services research, the behavioral and social sciences and public health.
Simple keywords are effective. e.g. AIDS by itself locates around 30 relevant datasets, 3 instruments and 1 software package. Access and AIDS retrieves 5 records including the HIV Cost and Services Utilization Study. Other relevant terms include: HIV/AIDS, services, cost, utilization.
HSRR automatically combines (ANDs) two or more terms. You may also:
- Search for phrases using quotes,
- Use Boolean operators and,
- Search within fields using field tags.
