The August full monthly release of RxNorm and release notes are available as of Monday, August 6, 2018. The Veterans Health Administration replaced the National Drug File-Reference Terminology (NDF-RT) with the Medication Reference Terminology (MED-RT) in early 2018.

To assist users, NDF-RT will remain in RxNorm through 2018. However, the December 2018 RxNorm release will be the last release to include NDF-RT. The January 2019 RxNorm release will not contain NDF-RT data. Please plan accordingly.
