Mendeley Data Added to the NLM Dataset Catalog
Mendeley Data Added to the NLM Dataset Catalog. NLM Tech Bull. 2026 Jan-Feb;(468): b3
January 20, 2026 [posted]
The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has added Mendeley Data to the NLM Dataset Catalog, a centralized, searchable platform that connects researchers with biomedical datasets from a broad range of repositories. With this addition, Mendeley Data joins other repositories available through the Catalog, including dbGaP, Dryad, ImmPort, and multiple Dataverse repositories.
Datasets from Mendeley Data are now discoverable alongside millions of datasets indexed in the NLM Dataset Catalog. To support discovery, dataset records are enhanced with Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) generated using artificial intelligence, expanding descriptive metadata available for search. Users can perform targeted searches by dataset title, author, funding information, or contributor name, save search histories and repositories of interest, and download selected datasets. The Catalog’s SPARQL Query Builder also enables users to explore relationships among datasets and related entities through an interactive semantic graph.
