PubMed 2026 Baseline Release Scheduled

PubMed 2026 Baseline Release Scheduled. NLM Tech Bull. 2026 Jan-Feb;(468): b4

January 22, 2026 [posted]

The release of updated MEDLINE citations with 2026 MeSH is scheduled for the week of January 26, 2026.

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) expects to temporarily suspend the addition of fully indexed MEDLINE citations to PubMed the week of January 26, 2026. NLM will continue to add publisher-supplied and in-process citations during this time.

The PubMed 2026 baseline files are expected to be released later that week. Daily update files will continue to be added to the FTP until the new baseline is released.
