NLM® Customer Services Satisfaction Survey

NLM® Customer Services Satisfaction Survey. NLM Technical Bulletin. 2004 May–Jun;(338):e1.

June 02, 2004 [posted]

NLM Reference and Customer Services will be sending out a Web-based survey from early June until September 2004 along with the e-mail responses to queries sent to custserv@nlm.nih.gov or to other "Contact NLM" forms. The survey consists of nine questions and should take about 5 or 6 minutes to complete. The URL will be provided at the top of e-mail responses.

The NLM staff answer reference questions and provide information about NLM, the History of Medicine, DOCLINE®, UMLS®, document delivery, PubMed®, MedlinePlus®, ClinicalTrials.gov®, and other NLM databases and services. We annually respond to over 50,000 e-mail requests for information.

NLM invites our patrons, including librarians, health professionals, scientists, researchers, students, patients, and the general public, to take the survey. The survey will analyze the demographics of our users and the types of questions they ask, and measure their satisfaction with the courtesy, timeliness, and quality of the response provided. Your completion of the survey will provide the NLM with valuable data on how useful our resources are, and if you found the level of service provided satisfactory.
