The National Library of Medicine (NLM) is pleased to announce five new SNOMED CT related releases available for download.

  • SNOMED CT Nursing Activities Reference Set (Refset) Package:
    This reference set includes a subset of frequently used SNOMED CT concepts in nursing practice for nursing activities. This release is based on the July 2019 SNOMED CT International Edition.

  • SNOMED CT Nursing Health Issues Refset Package:
    This reference set includes a subset of frequently used SNOMED CT concepts used in nursing practice for nursing health issues. This release is based the July 2019 SNOMED CT International Edition.

  • SNOMED CT General Dentistry Diagnostic Refset Package:
    This release is a reference set of diagnostic terms, designed to provide dentistry with an easy to implement set of terms that covers the vast majority of care provided in the dental field. This release is based the July 2019 SNOMED CT International Edition.

  • SNOMED CT Odontogram Refset Package:
    This reference set is for use in dentistry, specifically for use in the electronic dental record (EDR) for odontogram visualization and representation of patient's current oral condition. This release is based the July 2019 SNOMED CT International Edition.

  • July 2019 SNOMED CT General Practitioner/Family Practice Refset:
    This release includes the SNOMED CT International General Practitioner/Family Practice (GP/FP) Refset. This release is resulting work from the harmonization agreement between the IHTSDO and WONCA and is based on the July 2019 SNOMED CT International Edition.

    Please note: SNOMED International and WONCA have decided to deprecate the SNOMED CT to ICPC-2 map. SNOMED International has therefore inactivated all ICPC-2 map records in the current release package, ceased publishing the ICPC-2 release notes, and removed references to ICPC-2 in package naming conventions.
