MedlinePlus and MedlinePlus En Español Homepages Refreshed. NLM Tech Bull. 2022 Nov-Dec;(449):b16.

The MedlinePlus and MedlinePlus en español homepages will be refreshed in early January and we encourage you to visit. Changes include:

  • Addition of a "Welcome to MedlinePlus" feature in order to follow U.S. Health and Human Services recommendations for homepages to "clearly and prominently communicate the purpose and value of the web site on the homepage"
  • Removal of discontinued links and outdated features
  • Rearrangement of icons linking to content to improve navigation and reduce clutter
