Data Changes

New Dose Form and Dose Form Group
RxNorm includes one new dose form: Intratracheal Suspension. This dose form occurs in a handful of new drugs. Along with the new dose form comes a new dose form group: Intratracheal Product.

NDC Suppress Changes
After meeting with our data providers and reviewing our processes for editing NDCs, we have identified 7,572 inactive NDCs that were previously marked as active in RxNorm. These NDCs are now flagged as suppressed in RXNSAT.RRF and are no longer propagated to SAB=RXNORM.

This release also includes many changes to dose forms for injectable products as part of the ongoing prescribable names (TTY=PSN) work.
