The Alliance for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics (APUA) is dedicated to promoting proper antibiotic use and curbing antibiotic resistance worldwide.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Public Health Services, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services seeks to prevent and control infectious and chronic diseases, injuries, workplace hazards, disabilities, and environmental health threats in the United States and around the world.

Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) supports AIDS research, AIDS prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of sound AIDS-related public policy.

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health, Public Health Services, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services conducts and supports basic and applied research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases.
