Bioethics Research Databases is created and maintained by the Bioethics Research Library, Georgetown University Library.

HumGen International is an international database on ethical, legal and social issues in human genetics.

NCBI Genetics and Medicine quick links lists all NLM National Center for Biotechnology databases for genetic/genomic information including:

  • Bookshelf for free access to some books and documents in life science and healthcare
  • OMIM®, Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man®, a comprehensive, authoritative compendium (database and catalog) of human genes, genetic disorders and genetic phenotypes.
  • PMC (PubMed Central®), a free, all open access, archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature. PMC is developed and managed by NLM’s National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
  • ClinicalTrials.gov is a registry and results database of publicly and privately supported clinical studies of human participants conducted around the world.
  • PubMed Health is a service provided by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the NLM providing evidence-based information for consumers and clinicians on prevention and treatment of diseases and conditions. PubMed Health specializes in reviews of clinical effectiveness research, easy-to-read summaries and full technical reports.
  • PubMed/MEDLINE has over 25 million bibliographic citations and abstracts to published biomedical research literature including indexed MEDLINE citations. PubMed also provides access to additional relevant web sites and links to the other NCBI molecular biology resources.
  • PubMed Clinical Queries are pre-formulated searches of PubMed including one for genetics literature.
