While NLM MeSH Section staff continually revise and update the MeSH vocabulary, updates generally only appear annually in the MeSH Browser
- Except for SCRs which are updated weekly

New terms maybe recommended by anyone inside or outside the library as they are encountered in scientific literature at //www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/meshsugg.html
