PREVENTING NUCLEAR WAR

American cardiologist Dr. Bernard Lown and Soviet physician Dr. Evgueni Chazov founded International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War. In 1985 the organization was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for their work to end nuclear proliferation.
