Yeah, it made major changes in this traditional diet when all across the state were trials of it and people lost weight. Their blood pressure came down. They felt better.

Well, any restrictive diet people will lose weight on. The question is do they stay on it.
[Aluli:]
But actually it was returning to the land which was important, and what came from here was the responsibility of caring for the land so that the things on the land and in the ocean would continue for the other generations, and we wouldn’t lose it. Those cultural gathering, fishing, hunting practices would continue.
