Well, they have some great medicines. They have some really great medication that I’ve been on. One for two years now that has enabled me to walk and pick up things and…
[Lindberg:]
It looks like a good result.
[Interviewee:]
Yeah. It has been tremendous because I was on the verge of bending— my hands and my feet and things were
[Lindberg:]
So, do you take methotrexate?
[Interviewee:]
I did take methotrexate but the rheumatologist has taken me off of it, and I’m strictly on Enbrel now. Enbrel and an occasional pain pill because I just had a total knee replacement in February.
[Lindberg:]
Wow.
[Interviewee:]
Yeah, it’s great.
[Lindberg:]
Good treatment.
[Interviewee:]
I really got lots of good medical treatment from here, and then I’m able to share my experiences with other elders that are in here, because they’ve been a little bit afraid of having that procedure done. I’m a prime example, “Hey, we can get it done, and it can be really good for you.”
