There are huge health and healthcare disparities. We can measure them. They’re real and they exist, and for a variety of reasons the American Indians in our country live both on reservations, they live in your communities as urban American Indians, and sometimes they’re poor and people you might not think of that way, and then lots of times they’re lawyers and doctors and your neighbors and maybe you didn’t even realize that they were among you. And so it’s a very sort of diverse group of people who are very proud of their heritage who are trying hard to go back and address some really important national problems.
