But in some cases, some of the tribes that have benefited from gaming have begun to build their own economic base, which then can provide jobs, employment, educational opportunities, and industry for their populations, and I see that in New Mexico, specifically. So that—you see that—the other part of that is that I think other tribes are beginning to recognize well we need to do some things different, and the fact that if we continue to rely on the federal government, which has never really been there in the way that it should have been and the way that they made a commitment to, that we have to step up and do something on our own. And I think that as we’ve had that discussion today, the past couple days, it’s been real clear when that hasn’t been there, those urban Indian folks—many of them who had good leadership, visionary leadership, and willing to roll up their sleeves, and do the job, have actually really, managed to turn things around and develop programs, viable programs, sustainable over the long term. And I think that’s an incredible story, and I think, there are lessons for Indian country and all of Indian people to learn from that. That it can and it can be done and has happened, and there is success out there.
