They had never been affected by Western society more or less, you know. I went into remote places and found their way of life and their connectedness with the ethereal world was really awesome and powerful and alive. And so I hung around them to learn what it was all about, and it was, you know, many people read in the Bible that you have to open your eyes, open your ears, and open your feeling. Well, when you experience spirituality, that’s what you do. You hear something totally different, you see something totally different, and you feel something totally different.
