PubMed subject subset strategies are reviewed each year to determine if modifications are necessary. Modifications may include revisions due to changes in MeSH® vocabulary, adding or deleting terms, and changing parts of a strategy to try to optimize retrieval. The following subset strategies were recently revised:

  • Bioethics
  • Cancer
  • Toxicology

These subset strategies will be updated in the near future:

  • Complementary Medicine
  • Space Life Sciences

[Editor's Note: The Complementary Medicine subset was updated on February 8, 2010.]
[Editor's Note: The Space Life Sciences subset was updated on April 14, 2010.]

The PubMed Subset Strategies page has information about the subsets.
