The National Library of Medicine (NLM) is pleased to announce the release of a new tutorial on medical terminologies and RxNorm.
This training session, of particular interest to health sciences librarians and other health information specialists, provides an overview of basic concepts of medical terminologies (including what they are and why they are important), followed by a deep dive into RxNorm, an NLM-authored medical terminology specializing in drug information. You can obtain one hour of Medical Library Association (MLA) continuing education credit for completing the course.
